Jajpur: Chief Secretary, Suresh Chandra Mahapatra visited Jajpur district today morning and reviewed implementation of the ongoing developmental programs.
The issues relating to ground level implementation of the projects were discussed and resolved in the review meeting.
Setting time limits for completion of each project, Mr.Mahapatra directed concerned officers and executants to commission the projects in time so that people could get the benefits.
He also directed to maximize outcomes of the projects through field level convergence of related departments.
He also visited the Vyasa Sarobar in Jajpur district today and reviewed the ground level situation for further developing it to a place of tourist attraction.
District Collector Jajpur, Chakraborty Singh Rathor presented the blue print for development of the spot.
It was decided to have depictions of Mahabharata age and puranic tales about the mythical war of Mahabharata along with tourist facilitation center, cafeteria, refreshment facilities for enhancing the tourism potential of the spot.
