Bhubaneswar: State Government has decided to reduce the Cost of RT-PCR Test by the Private Laboratories to help the citizens in Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19) Pandemic.
ACS Health and Family Welfare, Pradipta Kumar Mohapatra has issued a notification in this regard on 21 December, which will help out the citizens going for RT-PCR Test.
State Government has re-fixed the maximum price of RT-PCR Test at Rs.100 Inclusive of GST and all other Incidental Charges, the notification said.
Earlier, RT-PCR Test cost was fixed at Rs.2200 and later it had been reduced to Rs.1200 and now it is Rs.100.
Private Laboratories conducting tests for Private Individuals now will charge Rs.100 for RT-PCR Test for Private Individuals desirous of testing.
Department of Lab Services of Apollo Hospitals, IMS & SUM Hospital, InDNA Life Science, KIIT TBI Bhubaneswar and GenX Diagnostics Bhubaneswar are taking up RT-PCR Tests.
The Tests will be conducted by Private Laboratories under supervision of RMRC, Bhubaneswar following ICMR Guidelines regarding the testing protocols for RT-PCR COVID-19 Tests.
