Prez, PM On Odisha Visit

Bhubaneswar: Comprehensive structural dates and logistical details have been locked in for the upcoming high profile VVIP visits to Odisha. The official schedule spans June 19 and June 20, bringing together the top leadership of the nation to commemorate the second anniversary milestone of the state government under Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi.

On June 19, President Shrimati Droupadi Murmu will arrive first in her hometown region of Rairangpur in Mayurbhanj district. She will establish the initial presence in the area and oversee preliminary local engagements ahead of the main joint events.

On June 20, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will arrive in Odisha to spearhead the core administrative and public programs alongside the President. This marks a historic occasion where both the President and the Prime Minister will be present together in Rairangpur.

The VVIP itinerary for the joint visit features specialized stops at Uparbeda and Pahadpur near Badampahar, areas deeply tied to the President’s roots. The leaders will visit the SLS Memorial Residential School, which was established in memory of the President’s late husband and two sons. They will also inspect a regional skill development center to review educational infrastructure.

The core public segment will unfold at Dandabosh in Rairangpur, where an expansive public gathering is scheduled. Both leaders will deliver addresses outlining the future roadmap for the state. Administrative actions during the visit involve laying foundation stones and inaugurating an array of major projects covering rural development, connectivity, healthcare, and industrial growth. The state administration will formally release its achievement report card during these sessions.

Security protocols have been heightened by the State Police Administration. Inter state border checks along West Bengal and Jharkhand are being intensified. Multilayered security rings, drone surveillance, and strict hotel inspections are actively being enforced across the Mayurbhanj district to manage the VVIP travel routes and venue entry points.
