Bhubaneswar: A modern State-of-the Art Forensic Science Laboratory building was inaugurated by Abhay, Director General of Police, Odisha in the existing premises at Rasulgarh, Bhubaneswar on 12 August.
The meeting was graced by Sanjeeb Panda, Additional DG of Police, CID, CB, Odisha and CMD Odisha Police Housing and Welfare Corporation Limited.
Among others Vinaytosh Mishra, Addl DG of Police, SCRB, Rajesh Kumar, Director, SFSL, Bhubaneswar, Dr. Satyajit Naik, SP Computer, Bhubaneswar attended the ceremony.
This 4-storied modern complex, constructed by Odisha Police Housing and Welfare Corporation Limited, said a senior Top Cop.
The Complex has all the latest features of an ideal Forensic Science Laboratory.
SFSL, Odisha is one of the oldest and developed Laboratories in the Country in terms of manpower and equipment.
With the new modern Laboratory being functional, the space problem which the Laboratory used to face earlier, will be no more and the scientists in the laboratory will have a conducive atmosphere to work in.
