ASSOCHAM Pacts With Startup Odisha

Bhubaneswar: ASSOCHAM Odisha has officially signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding with Startup Odisha under the visionary guidance of Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi.

The agreement was signed by Shri Pankaj Lochan Mohanty, Chairman of the ASSOCHAM Odisha Development Council, and Shri Smruti Ranjan Pradhan, Chief Executive Officer of Startup Odisha.

The landmark signing took place at O-Hub in Bhubaneswar during the grand launch of the Odisha Seva First Innovation Challenge, a pioneering Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department initiative spanning 21 themes and targeting over one lakh competitors.

The ceremony was held in the presence of several key dignitaries, including Minister for Industries and Skill Development Shri Sampad Charan Swain, Fisheries and Animal Resources Development and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Shri Gokulananda Mallick, Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare and Science and Technology Minister Shri Krushna Chandra Patra, and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Secretary Shrimati Rasmita Panda, highlighting the absolute commitment of the state government to this collaborative partnership.

Under the dynamic leadership of Shri Pankaj Lochan Mohanty, the connectivity and active institutional partnership between ASSOCHAM and the Government of Odisha have scaled to unprecedented heights.

Through proactive industry engagement, policy alignment with state milestones like Vision 2036 and 2047, and robust platforms for regional enterprise, Shri Mohanty has continuously bridged corporate capabilities with government welfare and development frameworks.

By fostering a collaborative ecosystem that promotes innovation, industrial growth, and young entrepreneurs, his stewardship ensures that trade bodies work hand in hand with public administration to fulfill the state’s broader economic aspirations.

During the event, state leadership expressed high praise for ASSOCHAM and its impactful initiatives aimed at building a world-class startup ecosystem in the region, noted Shri Amar Patnaik, former MP.
