Bhubaneswar: Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra, Principal Secretary School and Mass Education Bishnupada Sethi, Principal Secretary Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Ashok Kumar Meena, Principal Secretary Labour and ESI Chitra Arumugam along with senior officers participated in a validation workshop organised jointly by the United Nations and NITI Aayog on virtual mode.
The workshop was organised under the co-chairmanship of VC Niti Aayog Rajiv Kumar and UN Resident Commissioner in India Shombi Sharp at New Delhi.
The experts in the workshop deliberated on expected key outcomes of India-United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (2023-27).
CEO Niti Aayog Amitav Kant along with Senior National and Global experts lighted upon the issues relating to expeditious achievement of the expected outcomes like Health and Wellbeing, Nutrition and food, Quality Education, Economic growth and decent work, Climate action and WASH, and Empowering People.
The workshop was held in several sessions including Introductory and Summary sessions.
