Bhubaneswar: Ace Mandarin Vishal Kumar Dev has been given additional charge of Principal Secretary Energy and Chairman GRIDCO.
1996 Batch IAS Shri Dev, who is Principal Secretary Finance has been assigned additional responsibility of Department of Energy in additional to his duties.
Shri Dev was also handling charge of Chairman Odisha Hydro Power Corporation (OHPC).
It may be noted that 1993 Batch IAS Nikunja Bihari Dhal, Chief electoral Officer (CEO) Odisha was additionally handling the charge of ACS Energy and Chairman GRIDCO.
With Shri Dev taking charge of Department of Energy and Chairman GRIDCO, the critical sector, which is facing lot of issues will be eased, feel experts in the field.
