Vir Vikram Takes SJTA Charge

Puri: Senior Mandarin Vir Vikram Yadav Wednesday took charge as the Chief Administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA).

District Collector Samarth Verma, senior officials, and servitors accompanied Yadav to the Jagannath temple in the morning.

After offering prayers to the Lords, Yadav proceeded to the SJTA office at ‘Bada Danda’ and took charge as the Chief Administrator.

Notably, the State Government had appointed Mr.Yadav as the Chief Administrator, SJTA and Secretary, Works Department on Saturday.

A 1996-batch IAS officer, Mr.Yadav is also Principal Secretary of Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Department.

He replaces Dr Krishan Kumar who was relieved from the State Government in March this year, to join as Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
