Bhubaneswar: The State Health and Family Welfare Department on Wednesday issued instructions for Covid-19 vaccination of all Tibetan nationals residing in the State.
Following the approval of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Additional Chief Secretary, Health, PK Mohapatra has written a letter to all Collectors and Municipal Commissioners for this purpose.
The MoHFW have approved the COVID-19 vaccination of Tibetan communities and it has been noticed by Ministry that many persons of Tibetan communities have received their first dose, Mr.Mohapatra said.
“However, 2nd dose vaccine is not being provided yet to them. You are, therefore, requested to monitor the vaccination of Tibetan communities in your District /MC to ensure timely 2nd dose vaccination following the guideline,” the ACS told the Collectors and Commissioners.
