Cuttack: DGP Sunil Kumar Bansal Tuesday emphasized on the free, fair, transparent, impartial, and incident-free rural polls across the State.
Crime Branch Chief Sanjeeb Panda, Director Intelligence, Lalit Das, ADG Law & Order R K Sharma, IGP Operations, Amitabh Thakur, Crime Branch IGP Amitendra Nath Sinha, DIG, EOW & STF, Jay Narayan Pankaj and other senior Top Cops attended the meeting.
During a review meeting, he stressed on strict enforcement of model code of conduct and adherence to the SEC guidelines and COVID protocols during the election process.
He further emphasized on intensifying prophylactic measures including bounding down of persons U/s 110 / 107 Cr.P.C., seizure of illegal arms, seizure of illicit liquor and execution of NBWs.
All District Superintendents of Police, DCP Cuttack and Bhubaneswar and all range DIGs / IGs of Police attended the review meeting.
In the meeting issues such as disposal of seized drugs and Malkhana items, narcotics drugs enforcement, CCTV installation at Police Stations and public grievance redressal were also discussed.
