State Hikes DA By 2%

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today announced a two percent hike in the dearness allowance (DA) of the State Government employees.

As a result, the dearness allowance of the government employees has now increased to 55 percent from existing 53 percent.

This will be implemented retrospectively from January 1, 2025, the Chief Minister announced.

The Government employees will get the increased DA in current month salary (April) through direct cash.

The Government also hiked the TI of the pensioners by 2 percent. They will also get the hiked TI in their current month pension.

All regular employees and pensioners, whose number would be 8.5 lakhs in the State, would be benefited from this move.
