Bhubaneswar: A delegation of 20 tech Startups from Odisha led by Executive Chairman of Startup Odisha Omkar Rai arrived in Dubai to participate in world’s premier tech and Sartup event Gitex Global 2022 which kicked off on October 10 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Startup Odisha, Government of Odisha is a participating partner at this Global Event.
In Gitex, Odisha based Startups to showcase and connect with global tech market. The Startups from Odisha from sectors such as Edtech, NFT, Enterprise Tech, IoT (Internet of Things), Health Tech, Ecommerce, Electric Vehicles, Fintech, Robotics, AI/ML and Consumer Tech are there to attend the focused event ‘North Star 2022’ which is a part of GITEX Global 2022.
The delegation will also attend the ‘India Startups Confluence 2022’ to be held at Opera Ball Room, Hotel Taj Dubai, Business Day UAE on October 12, 2022.
The Confluence gives an opportunity for Startups from Odisha to connect with Startups from the UAE and the Middle East-based larger ecosystem stakeholders. The delegation will also visit Sharjah Research Innovation and Technology Park (SRITP).
Executive Chairman Dr.Rai stressed that Gitex Global 2022 has emerged as the largest tech event in the world bringing various stakeholders under one platform.
The growing recognition of Odisha at such forums is a matter of pride for Odisha and a testament to the achievements of the state under the able leadership of the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
