Bhubaneswar: Senior OAS Officer Debasis Singh has been promoted to Special Secretary Rank in Government of Odisha.
Department of General Administration and Public Grievances has brought out a notification in this regard on 1February.
Shri Singh, an honest and suave officer is serving as Director Housing & Ex-officio Additional Secretary in Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Shri Singh has been given In-Situ Promotion along with two other senior OAS Officers.
According to notification, Madhusmita Rath, who is at present serving as General Manager OCAC is also promoted to Special Secretary Rank and allowed to continue in the post.
Similarly, Mahesh Kumar Choudhury Additional Secretary in Department of MSME has also been promoted to Special Secretary Rank.
