Shree Jagannatha Channel Soon

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government has initiated high-level discussion to launch a dedicated television channel centered on Lord Jagannath, the presiding deity of Odisha and a symbol of universal spirituality.

The meeting, chaired by Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan at the Lok Seva Bhawan in Bhubaneswar, focused on establishing a platform to broadcast the rich traditions and cultural heritage associated with the deity.

ACS Revenue & Disaster Management and Shree Jagannath Temple Administration Chief Administrator Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee, Principal Secretary of Law Dr. Pabitra Mohan Samal, and other senior officials attended the meeting.

During the meeting officials discussed the foundational framework of the proposed channel. The agenda included the daily programming schedule, strategies for the global dissemination of Shree Jagannatha culture, and ways to document the deep emotional and spiritual experiences of devotees.

Minister Shri Harichandan described the preliminary discussions as highly positive. He emphasized that the state government is committed to using this medium to promote research and academic discourse on Shree Jagannatha culture.

The channel aims to bridge the gap between the temple and the global community by sharing the divinity and history of the Puri shrine with a worldwide audience.

A comprehensive roadmap and detailed project report for the channel are expected to be finalized in subsequent meetings as the government moves forward with this ambitious spiritual project.
