Mumbai: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sar Sangh Chalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat is scheduled to interact with Gen Z and Gen Alpha students from over 100 cities across India on Thursday, August 6, 2026.
The high-profile engagement comes in the wake of major youth-led student protests at Jantar Mantar that recently prompted the resignation of Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan.
The interaction will take place in Mumbai at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) during the inaugural ceremony of the 15th-anniversary celebrations of India’s International Movement to Unite Nations (IIMUN) Annual Championship Conference. Over 2,000 high school and college students, aged between 15 and 19, are expected to attend the event.
The central theme of the inaugural ceremony is “The Role of Youth in Uniting the World, the Indian Way”. During the conference, student representatives will engage in debates and deliberations covering various local, national, and international topics.
Founded in 2011 by Shri Rishabh Shah, IIMUN functions as a prominent youth-run public affairs platform. The upcoming dialogue has also drawn political commentary, with opposition leaders questioning the timing and outreach toward the younger demographic following the recent student agitations.
