Bhubaneswar: Top Cop Dhirendra Sambhaji Kutey has been chosen for President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service.
1997 Batch IPS Officer Shri Kutey is now serving as Special Secretary in CMO Odisha.
Senior Constable of Odisha Vigilance Directorate Cuttack Prahallad Kumar Rout has been honoured with President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service.
Eleven other police officials have also been selected for the Police Medal for Meritorious Service, which is conferred on the occasion of Republic Day every year.
They are Addl SP, Bhadrak Jatindra Kumar Panda, Addl. SP Bargarh Pradyumna Kumar Mishra, DSP Vigilance Sundargarh Unit Sudhansu Sekhar Pujari, ACP Bhubaneswar Himansu Bhusan Swain, Deputy Commandant BPSPA Bhubaneswar Gyanendra Kumar Das.
Similarly Inspector Bhubaneswar Security Wing Bhubaneswar Arun Baliarsingh, SI Berhampur Vigilance Division Jugala Kishor Pradhan, Constable Nuapatna Cuttack Sarwordin Khan, ASI of Police (Computer) SCRB Bhubaneswar Bijnyan Busan Mohanty, Drill Inspector of Police Bhubaneswar Anil Kumar Minz and Sepoy 4th Battalion Rourkela Pradeep Kumar Behera have been awarded with Police Medal for Meritorious Service.
