Prachi Sarovar Premier Opens

Bhubaneswar: Sarovar Hotels, in partnership with Prachi Resorts, has officially entered the Odisha market with the inauguration of Prachi Sarovar Premiere Bhubaneswar.

Union Minister Tourism Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat joined virtually and blessed the new property, which is all set to make an impactful presence in the Hospitality Sector of Odisha. Chairperson Prachi Resorts Shrimati Vijaya Laxmi Devi joined as Chief Guest in the Grand Opening Ceremony.

This strategic launch marks the introduction of the group’s upscale brand to the capital city, significantly enhancing Bhubaneswar’s premium hospitality landscape to meet the growing demands of both corporate and leisure tourism in the region.

The grand opening ceremony was attended by key leadership from both organizations, including Shri Ajay K. Bakaya, Chairman of Sarovar Hotels and Director of Louvre Hotels India, alongside Prachi Resorts’ leadership team: Chairperson Shrimati Vijaya Laxmi Devi and Directors Shri Manmath Vijay Singh Deo and Shri Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo.

Former Tourism Minister and Ex-MP Shri Anang Uday Singh Deo and Chairperson of Ekamra Vatika Shrimati Meghna Singh Deo also graced the occasion.

Spanning a 2.5-acre footprint in the heart of the city, the contemporary upscale property has been meticulously designed to cater to modern travelers. The inventory consists of 78 well-appointed rooms and suites featuring premium amenities and tailored interiors. On the food and beverage front, the hotel introduces two distinct concepts: Flavours, an all-day dining restaurant featuring a blend of global and regional culinary offerings, and Mahua, an intimate indoor lounge specializing in handcrafted cocktails and premium beverages.

Positioned as a versatile venue for the MICE segment, the property boasts extensive banqueting and conferencing facilities, complemented by a 15,200 square foot landscaped green lawn suitable for large-scale corporate events, social celebrations, and weddings. Additional guest amenities include a swimming pool and elevated, experience-led services that blend modern comfort with localized hospitality touches.

According to Shri Ajay K. Bakaya, the expansion reflects Sarovar Hotels’ commitment to establishing a presence in high-growth Indian markets backed by strong infrastructure and cultural appeal. Smt.Vijaya Laxmi Devi added that the partnership leverages Prachi Resorts’ long-standing legacy as a hospitality pioneer in Odisha alongside Sarovar’s national management expertise, effectively elevating local service standards to a global level.

Earlier General Manager Prachi Sarovar Premier, Shri Santosh Tewary welcomed the Guests and Media Persons. Shri Tewary also coordinated the entire show, which scripted success.

This new addition further diversifies Sarovar Hotels’ expanding portfolio, which currently encompasses over 150 operational properties across 87 destinations in India, Nepal, and Africa.
