Bhubaneswar: The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) has officially announced the appointment of Shri Pankaj Lochan Mohanty as the Chairman of its Odisha State Development Council.
Shri Mohanty who serves as the Chairman and Managing Director of the MGM Group of Industries is widely recognized as a visionary captain of industry with a proven track record of driving large scale industrial growth and community development.
This strategic leadership appointment comes at a pivotal moment as Odisha accelerates its roadmap toward the Viksit Odisha 2036 targets. He meets Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi and Minister of Industries Shri Sampad Charan Swain to discuss investment frameworks and the expansion of the manufacturing and value addition sectors.
Furthermore Shri Mohanty has been in high level consultations with Chief Secretary Shrimati Anu Garg and Additional Chief Secretary for Home Industries and I&PR Shri Hemant Sharma.
These discussions are focused on achieving the ambitious economic milestones set for 2036 which include transforming Odisha into a major secondary and tertiary sector hub while leveraging its mineral wealth for sustainable forward integration.
