Bhubaneswar: To support the assigned task forces in performing consistently towards the progress of transformation of high schools in all districts of the state under the 5-T charter, OSEPA organized a three-day training programme for the district resource groups (DRG) of all 30 districts at Gopabandhu Academy of Administration here.
The district resource groups comprise of Additional District Education Officers & Block Education Officers.
SPD OSEPA Anupam Shah and Director State Council of Educational Research &Training Sanat Kumar Mohanty along with other dignitaries from School & Mass Education Department enlightened the participants about the objective of the programme with their suggestions and recommendations.
OSEPA has developed and is facilitating the training materials on leadership skills, 21st century skills, curriculum and exposure visits with the assistance and support of the State Council of Educational Research & Training, the Directorate of Secondary Education and Piramal Foundation.
The goal of the Programme is to develop leadership skills among the high school teachers and headmasters of 5T transformed high schools.
The workshop also aims at developing digital skills like use of smart boards, projectors, Microsoft office etc.
The three day’s agenda is to facilitate the training on self-awareness, coaching & mentoring, team building, 21 st century skills for students, national education policy 2020, e-Content development and importance of exposure visit.
Another three-day training programme has been scheduled for the coming week on digital skills for programmers and MIS/Planning coordinators from all 30 districts of the state.
