Bhubaneswar; The much-awaited ropeway facility was inaugurated at Nandankanan Zoological Park here on Friday.
Forest and Environment Minister Pradip Amat inaugurated the facility, which will be open for the visitors from tomorrow.
ACS Forest, Environment and Climate Change, Satyabrata Sahu, PCCF & HoFF Debidatta Biswal, PCCF Wildlife Susanta Nanda, Director Nandan Kanan, Manoj V Nair and other graced the occasion.
The ropeway will cover a distance of 626 meters connecting the Zoo with the Botanical Garden passing through Kanjia Lake.
The visitors can enjoy the service at a price of Rs 120 per head. The service is free for kids upto 3 years of age. They will have to pay an additional amount for taking a camera for photography.
The service will be available from 8 am to 4 pm daily excluding weekly holiday. A total of 72 visitors can use the ropeway facility at a time.
