Bhubaneswar: With the beginning nomination process for both Lok Sabha and Assembly polls, the State is going to witness high-voltage comping by principal Opposition political parties BJP and Congress on April 28 as top leaders from the parties are set to address massive rallies on the same day in different parts.
BJP National President J P Nadda is scheduled to visit Odisha on April 28. Shri Nadda will be here in Odisha on a one-day visit for campaigning, said former State BJP President Sameer Mohanty.
National BJP Chief will address the public meetings in Berhampur in Ganjam district and Nabarangpur, he said.
There will be solicitation for votes for the party candidates. There is information to give tips on how the party will gain majority in the 2024 General Elections by discussing with the workers of both Western and South Odisha.
It is worth noting that Saffron Veteran and Minister Home Affairs Amit Shah visited Sonepur on 25 April. He addressed a meeting organized in Sonepur and gave a message, while slamming BJD Government.
Similarly, top Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will attend a meeting in Salepur Assembly constituency in Cuttack district and address the party workers on April 28, informed AICC in-charge of Odisha, Ajoy Kumar.
He will address the meeting at RMC field in Kulia village under Nischintakoili block, the birth place of Madhu Babu, party sources said.
Thousands of party leaders and workers from the coastal districts like Cuttack, Kendrapara, Jajpur, and Jagatsinghpur will take part in the meeting and get some inputs from Shri Gandhi to contest the election and become victorious, they said.
