Bhubaneswar: In a major philanthropic gesture aimed at supporting state welfare initiatives, MGM Minerals Limited has contributed Rs 1 Crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF).
Chairman and Managing Director MGM Group Shri Pankaj Mohanty, alongside Director Shri Siddhartha Mohanty of the MGM Group, formally presented the contribution cheque to Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi during a meeting held at Loka Seva Bhawan in Bhubaneswar on 29 August 2026.
The financial support from the industrial group will assist the state administration in furthering its disaster relief management, social security programs, and developmental efforts across Odisha.
Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi expressed appreciation for the corporate group’s ongoing social responsibility and commitment to community welfare.
In addition to its today’s contribution to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, MGM Minerals Limited, under the leadership of Chairman and Managing Director Shri Pankaj Lochan Mohanty, actively drives structured corporate social responsibility initiatives across Odisha.
The Corporate group allocates significant financial resources annually toward community upliftment and sustainable development around its operational areas in Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, and Cuttack. The organization focuses on key social sectors including healthcare services, educational support, rural infrastructure development, and sports promotion.
Through the MGM Foundation and specialized community welfare programs, the group has established state-of-the-art medical dispensaries, organized free healthcare camps, supplied clean drinking water units, and supported local educational institutions with classroom infrastructure and learning materials.
Furthermore, Shri Pankaj Lochan Mohanty has spearheaded initiatives targeting women empowerment through vocational training, wildlife protection, environmental conservation through large-scale plantation drives, and sports development via the MGM School of Sports in Cuttack District.
