Rourkela: Secretary to CM VK Pandian on Saturday directed the Vedavyas Peetha Trust to prepare a master plan for the development of the shrine here within 15 days. R Vineel Krishna, Special Secretary to CM and Secretary Sports & Youth Services accompanied him.
An ardent devotee of Lord Shiva, Shri Pandian, who visited the shrine- a major pilgrimage center during his visit held discussion with the members of the Trust Board, the staff, and the local people about the development of Peetha under the 5T initiative.
Every day, many devotees from the state and outside visit the peetha. Therefore, the state government is keen on the overall improvement of this peetha, Shri Pandian said.
During his visit Sundargarh District Collector Parag Harshad Gavali, Rourkela Municipal commissioner Shubhankar Mohapatra and others were present.
