New Delhi: Union Minister of Coal, Mines and Parliamentary Affairs Pralhad Joshi has congratulated National Aluminium Company Ltd (NALCO) for winning the prestigious Pollution Control Excellence Award 2021 of the State Pollution Control Board (SPCB), Odisha.
In a tweet, the Minister has said that the award is the recognition of the Company’s sustained efforts towards protection of the environment.
“Congratulations @NALCO_India on bagging the prestigious Pollution Control Excellence Award 2021. This is a recognition of the company’s sustained efforts towards the protection of the environment,” the Union Minister tweeted.
On the occasion of its 38th Foundation Day, the Pollution Control Board has given Excellence Award under mines category to the Panchpatmali Central & North Block Bauxite Mine of NALCO, Damanjodi, KoraputState Minister of Forest & Environment Bikram Keshari Arukha had handed over the Award to the mines team of NALCO for effective pollution control measures and sound environment management practices.
