Identity Blooms With “Indradhanu”

The 12th edition of Odisha Manaska, a monthly discussion forum, took place yesterday at Sahid Nagar, featuring a vibrant interaction with the cast and crew of the upcoming Odia film, Indradhanu.

Hosted at the head office of ExtraOdinari and Safe Odisha For Her, the July edition, organized by All Things Odisha, delved into the multifaceted theme of “From Monochrome to Mosaic: Identity in all its dimensions.”

More than 20 participants from diverse backgrounds gathered for the lively discourse, sharing their perspectives on how identity extends beyond simple black and white, encompassing a rich spectrum akin to a rainbow.

The discussions highlighted the various shades and dimensions of identity, fostering an environment where participants patiently and gracefully listened to each other’s views.

A significant highlight of the event was the presence of the Indradhanu team. Director Arjun Samantray and actors Abhishek Giri, Samarpita Dash, Parambir Chakra, among others, not only contributed to the identity discussion but also offered insights into their upcoming anthology film and its creative process.

The engaging session was expertly conducted by Sandip Kumar Bal, Sonali Priyadarsini, and Sonali Senapati. Notable attendees included Pranay Manjari Swain of Safe Odisha For Her, renowned Heritage Researcher Anil Dhir, Food Researcher Ritu Pattanaik, actor Swastik Choudhury, Cinematographer Falgu Satpathy, and Anurag Jena.
