Bhubaneswar: Principal Secretary, School and Mass Education, Satyabrata Sahu said on Thursday asked officials to take Steps to identify teachers having fake certificates in the state and initiate action against them.
Mr.Sahu addressing the District Education Officers, District Project Coordinators and Block Education Officers, said such fake teachers must be identified and strict action taken against them.
Principal Secretary further said that the aim of model schools in the State can be achieved by providing proper guidance to the meritorious and talented students,
Mr.Sahu also emphasized the need for proper utilization of the career counseling portal of the School and Mass Education Department in order to give proper guidance to the students.
He said the officials should ascertain the problems of the model schools in their respective districts apart from implementing the directions of the department.
Issues relating to promotion of teachers, importance of vocational education, use of solar energy in schools, digital education and strengthening of school infrastructure were discussed in the meeting.
