Gurugram: The auspicious occasion of Akshay Tritiya was celebrated with deep devotion and spiritual gaiety at Sai Ka Aangan, Gurugram today. The celebration was graced by the august presence of Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy, renowned spiritual thinker, author, and founder of the Sai Ka Aangan movement.
Akshay Tritiya carries a distinctive spiritual significance in the Jagannath traditions, as it marks the auspicious commencement of the construction of the grand chariots of Lord Shr Jagannath, Shri Balabhadra and Maa Subhadra.

Rath Anukula: In a ceremonially significant moment, the symbolic initiation of the chariot-building process was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Satpathy. Sacred timber was ritually consecrated to the accompaniment of Vedic chants, invoking the divine blessings of Lord Jagannath and Shirdi Sai Baba upon the auspicious undertaking.
“Akshay Tritiya is a day of ‘unending’ (Akshaya) blessings. It is not just about material beginnings, but the commencement of a spiritual journey towards the Divine,” shared during the day’s discourses.
