Bhubaneswar: Vishal Dev, Principal Secretary Finance has taken up detailed review of National Pension System (NPS) implementation in the State.
Shri Dev graced the Workshop on National Pension System (NPS), which has been conducted successfully by Directorate of Treasuries & Inspection, Odisha in association with CRA-Protean.
Awareness program on NPS was conducted 28 August held here on Day One.
Program is organized under the Chairmanship of Director of Treasuries & Inspection, Odisha for registered and un-registered State Autonomous Bodies & State Public Sector Undertakings.
The procedures for registration under NPS along with different functionalities were presented by Ramesh Kumar, Senior Lead, CRAProtean.
On its 2nd day, implementation status of NPS in the State was reviewed by Principal Secretary, Finance Shri Dev.
It was followed by a chat show on NPS implementation in the State conducted by CRA-Protean.
Siddhartha Das, Additional Secretary, Finance and Rupa Narayan Das, Director of Treasuries & Inspection participated.
In the chat show, different aspects of NPS like: steps taken by Government of Odisha for timely registration, uploading of contribution, grievance management, benefit of family pension, importance of investment under TierII & retirement planning were discussed.
The video of the chat show will be circulated through public media to educate the subscribers as well as Nodal offices.
The chat show was successfully moderated by Madhusudan Das, Assistant Vice-President, CRAProtean, Mumbai.
