Bhubaneswar: Senior IAS Officer Siddhartha Das has taken charge of Director Sports & Youth Services Department on 11 May.
Honest, Hardworking and a Suave Mandarin, Shri Das has served in State Finance Sector for long time and brings in indepth knowledge on various sectors of the Governance.
After taking charge as Director Sports, Shri Das called on Minister for Sports and Youth Services, Tusharkanti Behera and discussed the focus areas for sports development in Odisha.
Later, he visited various facilities and High Performance Centers located at the Kalinga Stadium and engaged in discussions on the activities and programs.
Sports Persons across the State are happy over his appointment as Shri Das is a ‘Positive Minded Mandarin’, who will spearhead the massive sports program ushered in by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Secretary to CM V K Pandian, making the Capital City as Soprts Capital of the Country.
