Bhubaneswar: An Ace IAS Officer and District Magistrate Cuttack, Arindam Dakua has been appointed as Private Secretary to Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.
Shri Dakua will be the first PS of the newly elected CM Majhi.
Shri Dakua, a 2011-batch Odisha cadre IAS officer, has been given this crucial responsibility by the CM himself.
He has earlier served as Director, Special Project and Director Drinking Water & Sanitation in the Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water (PR&DW) Department

Shri Dakua has first completed his BA in Political Science in Berhampur University, and then did Master Degree and M Phil in Political Science from prestigious JNU, New Delhi.
Shri Dakua has started his career as Sub-Collector, Champua in Keonjhar district, he has also served as Collector, Nayagarh,
Similarly, Jagatsinghpur Collector Anupam Shah has been named Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister.
Shri Shah, another Odia IAS officer, is now serving as Collector Jagatsinghpur.
Earlier, the 2012-batch officer Shri Shah was the Director OSEPA and Collector, Gajapati. He is a hardworking officer with field touch.
