New Delhi: Chief Secretary Pradeep Jena visited Odisha Pavilion in IITF-2023 at Pragati Maidan here at New Delhi on 23 November.
He appreciated the live demonstrations by tribal artisans which provide insights into the intricate process of transforming raw materials into finished goods.
Notably, the Odisha Pavilion takes pride in presenting handloom, silk products, highlighting an eco-friendly process that obtains silk without harming insects, reflecting Odisha’s dedication to sustainable and ethical practices.
The Odisha Pavilion embraces this theme, embodying the spirit of ‘Unity through Trade.’ It emphasizes trade as a unifying force that bridges diverse cultures and communities, including the representation of tribal groups.
The Odisha Pavilion, featuring 08 Departments, 24 stalls, includes renowned handloom outlets, Mission Shakti products, Millet Mission and other Government departments, offering visitors a detailed look at brick-colored terracotta artifact models that reflect country’s rural culture.
The IITF-2023 organized by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, from 14-27 November carries the theme “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam: United by Trade.”
