Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi felicitated Shri Bubun Sahu from Tolankapada village in Anandapur subdivision of Kendujhar district at the Loka Seva Bhawan for securing the first rank in the Odisha Civil Services Exam 2024.
During the occasion, the Chief Minister Shri Majhi emphasized that public service is the core objective of administration. He advised Shri Sahu to prioritize public welfare, good governance, and ensuring the delivery of government services to the last mile.
CM Shri Majhi also urged him to work dedicatedly for the development of children, women, and socially and educationally backward classes of society, advising him to evolve not only into a good administrator but also into a good human being.
Shri Bubun Sahu was selected for the Odisha Police Service last year and has been undergoing training as a DSP at the Biju Patnaik State Police Academy in Bhubaneswar since March 2026.
The Chief Minister also congratulated Shri Sahu’s parents, father Shri Bhagaban Sahu, who is a farmer, and mother Shrimati Kunjalata Sahu, a homemaker, for their son’s remarkable achievement.
