Bolangir: Chief Electoral Officer Nikunja Bihari Dhal reviewed the preparedness for the ensuing elections in the District of Bolangir.
Detailed discussion on poll preparedness in Bolangir Lok Sabha and Seven State Assembly Seats was held.
Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC) Northern Division Srikanta Prusty and other senior officers of the district have also participated in this poll preparedness review meeting.
Shri Dhal took stock of the law and order situation and visited the Counting Halls, Strong rooms.
Shri Dhal reviewed the various aspects of the election preparations in the two districts keeping in view the upcoming simultaneous general election-2024.
He held a detailed discussion with all the officials engaged in the election duty, election management, law and order situation, polling centers, voter facilities, opinions and proposals of political parties, use of various applications issued by the Election Commission of India etc.
Shri Dhal emphasized on increase in voting rate in the Parliamentary Constituency.
DEOs, SP, RO, ARO and Nodal Officers attended the Review Meeting.
While CEO Shri Dhal and RDC Shri Prusty visited Counting Halls, Strong rooms and highlighted on welfare of polling personnel.
Shri Dhal advised officials for free and fair poll with impartial to all political parties.
