Bhubaneswar: In a major philanthropic gesture towards state development and disaster management, SNM Group contributed Rs 1 Crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund on 29 August 2026.
SNM Group Managing Director Dr. Prabodh Mohanty and Director Shri Pragati Kumar Mohanty officially presented the monetary contribution via cheque to Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi during a formal meeting at Loka Seva Bhawan.
Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi appreciated the contribution, noting that such corporate contributions play a pivotal role in strengthening public welfare schemes, emergency response efforts, and community support programs across Odisha.
This financial support aligns seamlessly with SNM Group’s extensive corporate social responsibility framework in the region. Operating predominantly in the mining and industrial sectors, the enterprise has consistently driven community empowerment alongside its commercial operations. The organization actively undertakes multi-sectoral CSR initiatives targeting health, education, rural infrastructure, and environmental preservation.
Through various local welfare projects, SNM Group regularly organizes free health camps, supplies medical equipment, operates local dispensaries, and ensures 24/7 ambulance support in remote mining belts like Sundergarh and Keonjhar.
