Berhampur: Registrar of Cooperative Societies (RCS) of Odisha and Managing Director Odisha State Cooperative Bank, Shri Manish Agarwal, recently undertook a comprehensive district tour of Ganjam to review the banking operations of the Aska Cooperative Central Bank.
During the visit, high-level discussions were held in the presence of the MLA of Aska, the RCS, and the Additional Secretary-cum-Managing Director of the Aska Cooperative Sugar Industries (ACSI). The deliberations focused extensively on accelerating the growth of the sugar industry, boosting sugarcane production, and driving commercial diversification through allied products.
Ever since taking charge, Shri Agarwal has been working relentlessly to ensure the grand success of the cooperative mission in the state. Aligned with Union Minister for Home Affairs and Cooperation Shri Amit Shah’s visionary mantra of Sahakar Se Samriddhi, meaning prosperity through cooperation, the RCS has been actively working on the ground.
Highlighting these proactive steps, a senior BJP lawmaker, Shri Saroj Kumar Padhi, commended the efforts, noting that Shri Agarwal is continuously visiting various districts and securing the valuable support of people’s representatives and cooperators to strengthen the cooperative sector.
