Bhubaneswar: Breathing life into the monumental statewide Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, which commenced today and will run through August 17 under the aegis of the Department of Odia Language, Literature and Culture, the women of Odisha have scripted a remarkable tale of empowerment and national pride.
Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi has issued a passionate call to action, urging all citizens of Odisha to actively participate in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.

To inculcate patriotism in every heart and household across the length and breadth of the State this massive program is being organized across the State, said Shri Bijay Ketan Upadhyaya, Secretary of the Odia Language, Literature and Culture Department, who has taken the lead in organizing this massive program.
Demonstrating exceptional craftsmanship and unwavering dedication, women under the Mission Shakti department have successfully produced an astounding 60 lakh national flags as of today. To fuel this monumental production, the Department of Odia Language, Literature and Culture extended a financial assistance of 15 crore rupees to the Mission Shakti department. The initiative spanned across all 30 districts of Odisha, engaging 1,053 Women Self-Help Groups, 166 producer groups, and 48 SHG federations, effectively transforming the celebration of independence into a powerful engine of rural livelihood.

This visionary step has unlocked sustainable economic avenues for 12,471 women SHG members, who earned an average profit of 5 to 6 rupees per tricolor crafted, blending economic self-reliance with deep-seated national devotion. Furthermore, to ensure the seamless execution of the campaign at the grassroots level, the Department of Odia Language, Literature and Culture has allocated 10 lakh rupees to each district.
The department has informed the public that citizens can hoist the national flag, capture their proud moments with the tricolor, and upload their photographs on the official website harghartiranga.com to download their personalized digital certificates, uniting the entire state in a vibrant wave of patriotism and cultural pride.
