New Delhi: The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has achieved its highest-ever standalone financial performance for the financial year 2025–26, signaling a period of strong and sustained growth under the dynamic leadership of Shri Santosh Sarangi, Secretary of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) and Chairman of SECI.
The state-owned company reported a total income of solar-scale proportions, reaching regulatory and operational heights at corporate milestones. SECI’s total income for the fiscal year touched 18,554.33 crore rupees, marking a significant 21.21 percent year-on-year growth compared to the previous fiscal period. This revenue surge underscores the organization’s expanding footprint in executing large-scale renewable energy projects across the nation.
On the profitability front, SECI posted a Profit After Tax (PAT) of 578.53 crore rupees. This represents a robust 15.26 percent increase year-on-year, reflecting improved operational efficiencies and strong fiscal management under the current leadership.
Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Shri Pralhad Joshi, extended his congratulations to the SECI team on achieving these milestone figures. He noted that the financial results reflect the organization’s unwavering commitment to advancing India’s clean energy ambitions and driving sustainable economic growth.
As Chairman, Shri Santosh Sarangi expressed satisfaction with the standalone financial performance, positioning SECI as a pivotal driver in powering the nation’s ongoing transition toward green and renewable energy sources. The financial trajectory establishes a solid baseline for SECI as it scales up capacity allocation and updates its infrastructure commitments for the coming fiscal years.
