Cambridge, UK – Shrimati Meghna Singh Deo, a visionary educationist and Chairperson of Ekamra Vatika in Odisha, begins her participation in the prestigious Classroom 2030 programme at the University of Cambridge.

Program started from 13 April will continue till 17 April 2026, this senior-level initiative is hosted by the Digital Education Futures Initiative (DEFI) at Hughes Hall, a historic college known for its progressive atmosphere.

Shrimati Singh Deo, who also serves as an advisor to Vidya Bhawan International School in Udaipur, joins an exclusive cohort of global school leaders and policymakers.

The programme is designed to bridge the gap between international innovation and national mandates, specifically aligning with India’s National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework (NCF).

The curriculum focuses on the Dialogic Education framework, emphasizing high-quality classroom inquiry and metacognition over rote memorization.

Over the next five days, Shrimati Singh Deo will engage in workshops covering the science of learning, ethical artificial intelligence, and inclusive technology-driven ecosystems.

The residency includes field visits to Hills Road Sixth Form College to observe digital pedagogy in practice and a private visit to the historic Wren Library at Trinity College.

A central component of the week is a collaborative group project where participants will design future-oriented curricula integrating emerging technologies such as generative AI and virtual reality.
