New Delhi: The Department of Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities of Odisha has been honoured with the ‘Skoch Award’.
Director Niyati Patnaik, Additional Secretary Santosh Kumar Pradhan and IT Consultant Binit Mohapatra received the award on behalf of the department at the 99th Skoch Summit held at India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, Delhi.
In recognition of various initiatives taken by the State Government for rehabilitation of drug addicts and mental patients, the Department of Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities in the field of Social Justice and Security has been awarded the Gold Award for the year 2024.
Principal Secretary, SSEPD, Bishnupada Sethi expressed happiness over the honour. Principal Secretary Shri Sethi said that this award is a matter of pride and pride for the State and it will inspire the Department to work with more dedication and responsibility.
