Paradip: Paradip Port Authority observed the 9th International Day of Yoga with the theme “Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,’ effectively encapsulating our collective aspiration for ‘One Earth, One Family, and One Future.’
P.L.Haranadh, Chairman, PPA inaugurated the event at Biju Convention Centre in presence of Dy.Chairman, Nilabhra Dasgupta.
Tapas Ranjan Pati, experienced faculty of the Art of Living conducted the Yoga session.
Huge number of participants have also virtually joined live streaming of IDY 2023 National celebration led by Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar from Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh.
Of late, the practice of Yoga has emerged as one of the most powerful way to ensure our holistic well being. The CISF Unit of PPA, Volunteers of Paradip Art of Living, local school students along with PPA employees also joined the Yoga demonstration. Banners, hoardings and Electronic Display Boards highlighted the significance of the observation of International Day of Yoga to build awareness among the local populace.
As Yoga embodies unit of mind and body, thought and action, it has been incorporated in the education curriculum of the students from Port Trust UP School, High School. Esteemed Chairman, PPA happily mentioned to introduce yoga sessions in schools regular basis very soon.
