Guv Releases ‘My World Of Words’

Bhubaneswar: Governor Ganeshi Lal released a bilingual poetry book titled “My World of Words (MoMoSabdaVishwam)”, originally written in English by Insigtful Author Bishnupada Sethi and translated  into Sanskrit by Rabindra Kumar Panda.

In a simple ceremony at Raj Bhavan on 4 April Prof.Lal released the Book in presence of dignitatries, authors and writers.

Shri Sethi, belongs to the 1995 batch of Indian Administrative Service and currently serving as the Principal Secretary, Higher Education Department, Government of Odisha. His earlier works include ‘Beyond  Here and Other Poems’, ‘Beyond Feelings’, ‘Where Shall I Go!’ apart from other research based works.

Prof. Panda, the Vice Chancellor of Shri Jagannath Sanskrit University , Puri is an acclaimed writer in Sanskrit literature and has 45 numbers of books to his credit. He has got many accolades from organizations of national and international repute.

During the book release the Governor appreciated  the book highly and was of the opinion that the book would definitely enrich modern Sanskrit literature.

Dr Prasanna Patsani, Member, State Planning  Board attended the function as a Guest of Honour and expressed his pleasure by saying that Sanskrit should not be considered as a dying language anymore. The Dev Bhasa is very rich in itself and good works of other languages getting translated  into Sanskrit is definitely an encouraging  step in this direction.

The Executive Director of Har Anand Publications, New Delhi, Asish Gosain attended the function along with other distinguished guests from all walks of life.
