Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government’s efforts to organize National Tribal Craft Exhibition (NTCE)in a big way has been appreciated by the Participants.
In fact the National Craft Exhibition-2023 has provided a platform to the tribal weavers and artisans to showcase their products as well as interact with artisans from other states. It has also given them a huge platform for marketing of their products.
Department of ST SC Development and SCSTRTI joined hands with Ministry of Tribal Affairs to organize the National Show, which has been conducted in a professional manner for which participants were very happy.
Secretary STSC Development Roopa Roshan Sahoo has taken the overdrive for organizing the National Exhibition, said a senior Tribal Team of Madhya Pradesh, who was leading the Team.
SCSTRTI Director Indramani Tripathy took all care of the participants, who enjoyed the hospitality of the State Administration and showcased their unique products in the National Meet, said a Team Member of Tamil Nadu.
Members of Tribal Groups apart from Odisha, 13 states have participated to show case their rich art and craft traditions.
Tribal Communities from Andhra Pradesh, Telengana, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Tamilnadu, Maharashtra, Kerala, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh
NTCE showcases the colorful tribal art and craft, forest and tribal produces along with stage performance of tribal dances every evening.
NTCE presented ‘Live demo of tribal and crafts’ are the special highlights of the National Exhibition.
Team Members of various states talked to the customers and elaborated details about the unique products, which were colorful, delicately crafted and long lasting in its use.
Elaborating about the organization of NTCE, SCSTRTI Director Shri Tripathy said this National Exhibition was organized not only to show case Art and Crafts of Tribal People across the country, but to connect them with cultural ties.
