Millet, a Super Food is gaining wide acceptance, thanks to sincere efforts of Dr.Padhee, who is wholeheartedly working for acceptance of Millet among the various sections of the society.
While Odisha is hosting a Global Event, FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup 2023, Team Millet led by Dr.Padhee is working relentlessly to popularize the Super Food.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has decided to promote Millet by organizing Millet Day on 10 November across the State.
Accordingly Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment is engaged in promotion of Millet in a big way.
Dr.Padhee presented Millet Products with the TeaM Hockey India and it was appreciated by the Members.
Dilip Tirkey, Chief of Hockey India appreciated the efforts and echoing the Clarion Call of Chief Minister, he is also spearheading the awareness campaign of Millet.
Secretary Sports & Youth Services, R Vineel Krishna, who is passionate about sports promotion has also joined hands for promotion of Millet.
Team Efforts in this regard will contribute in a big way in promoting Millet among various sections of the people and popularize the Super Food to a great extent, officials say.
Director Agriculture and Food Production, Prem Chandra Chaudhury has extended his support for popularization of Millet across the State.
