Bhubaneswar: After holding invers’ meet at Dubai and Delhi, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is on a three-day visit to Mumbai from Tuesday. He will attend an investors’ meet in the financial capital city tomorrow ahead of the Make-in-Odisha Conclave, 2022.

Major industrialists from various sectors have been invited to this meeting, where the Chief Minister will have brief discussions with them with an aim to bring investments into the state.

Patnaik will also meet Chairman of Aditya Birla Group, Kumar Mangalam Birla, Chairman of Vedanta Resources Ltd, Anil Agarwal and Mahindra Group Chairman, Anand Mahindra.

The investors’ meet will be held at Hotel Trident while the one-to-one meeting with industry leaders is scheduled to be held at hotel The Oberoi.

He is also scheduled to visit the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) at Dalal Street and attend the ceremony to ring the auspicious opening bell.

Official sources said the State Government delegation is holding the roadshow in Mumbai to invite investments in sectors like IT, metal downstream and renewable energy, chemicals, plastics and advanced electronic manufacturing.  

Notably, the third edition of the ‘Make-in-Odisha Conclave’, scheduled to be held from November 30 to December 4, aims to showcase the manufacturing prowess of the State and investment opportunities across the focus sectors.
