IREDA Scaling New Heights

Pradip Kumar Das, CMD, Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency IREDA) is happy with the outcome of the Two Days Long International Conference on “Revisiting Business and Corporate Governance”.

Global Research Foundation for Corporate Governance (GRFCG) at Indian Law Institute, New Delhi organized the International Meet on 10-11 September, which was inaugurated by Justice Chandra Dhari Singh, Justice Delhi High Court as Chief Guest.

Shri Das, who is steering the IREDA in a big way, spoke at length the ‘Success Story’ scripted in Renewable Energy Sector in the country and is scaling new heights.

IREDA Chief said the organization has been maintaining its leadership position as a “Mother Organization” in Renewable Energy space for past 35 years and continuously developing financial products to meet the market requirements.

IREDA has performed exceedingly well during 2021-22 with its best performance till date during its 35 years of existence, under the dynamic leadership of Shri Pradip Kumar Das.

IREDA extended highest-ever loan sanctions of Rs.23,921.06 Crore and it was 117 Percent growth over Financial Year 2020-21.

IREDA loan disbursement Rs.16,070.82 Crore and it was an increase of 82 Percent over Fiscal 2020-21.

The above sanction and disbursement targets were achieved in conjunction with digitization, ease of doing business, transparency, accountability, officials say.

Shri Das said that IREDA is committed to best corporate governance practices in conducting business in a legal, ethical and fair manner.

The Mother Organization of Renewable energy Sector believes that good governance practices lead to creation of wealth for all its stakeholders in the long term.

While achieving its historic targets, IREDA has ensured continuous improvement of Human Capital through highest level of employee care and  satisfaction.

CMD IREDA emphasized that well being of its employees is a foremost priority for the organization.

 During these two days long deliberations eminent speakers R S Dhillon, CMD Power Finance Corporation Limited, Professor Emeritus Hand Van Ees, Emeritus Professor of Corporate Governance and Institutions, University of Groningen, The Netherlands, Professor (Dr.) A D Amar, Professor of management , Stillman School of Business, Seton Hall University, USA, Dr.KS Bhati, Formerly Registrar, The Indian Law Institute, New Delhi and Professor Jai Prakash Sharma, Chairman GRFCG spoke at length.
