Bhubaneswar: Odisha Women’s League has been scheduled to start from 28 February 2021 with Six Teams are participating in this League and all the matches will be played in a double header league basis. There will be a total of 30 no’s of matches.

There will be a total of 30 no’s of matches. The teams participating in this league are Sports Hostel, SAI-STC, OGP CLUB, Rising Student Club, East Coast Railway & Odisha Police.
The Champion Team of this prestigious League will qualify to participate in the ensuing IWL to be conducted by All India Football Federation.
Also, the Rising Student Club of State has the honor of being the Champion (2017-18) & Runners Up (2016-17) of the prestigious IWL. Also, the Odisha Police of our state has also represented in this prestigious IWL.
This Odisha League is going to commence from 28th February 2021 and will conclude on 27 March 2021. All the matches will be played at Bhubaneswar (Kalinga Stadium practice ground and Capital High School Ground).
This prestigious event is being jointly organized by Football Association of Odisha and the Sports and Youth Service Department of Odisha.
In the recent past, the Sports and Youth Service Department has undertaken a lot of initiatives for the development of sports & games in our state.
Naveen Patnaik, Chief Minister, Tusharkanti Behera, Minister of Sports & Youth Services, Vishal Kumar Dev, Principal Secretary, Sports & Youth Service, R Vineel Krishna, Special Secretary, CMO & Director of Sports & Youth Services have extended their support in promoting Football in the State.
Certainly, this noble endeavor of the State Government will be a ‘Game Changer’ for the development of Football in our State especially for Women Football, said an official.
