Window Clears 27 Projects

Bhubaneswar : The State  Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) led by Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena today approved 27 projects valued at Rs 6,134.52 crore with a total employment generation potential of 42,275 individuals.

In a landmark decision, the SLSWCA has greenlit a series of projects spanning various sectors, including Downstream-Aluminium, Renewable Power, Manufacturing, Metal Ancillary, Aerospace & Defence, Tourism, Food Processing and Allied Sectors, Plastic, Apparel & Textiles, Steel (Downstream), Steel (Ferro Alloys), ESDM, IT infrastructure.

In the Renewable Power sector, Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Ltd., a Government of Odisha undertaking, unveils its ambitious 63 MW Hydro Project in Kandhamal, with a project cost of Rs 787.48 crores, promising 210 potential job opportunities.

The State has approved the proposal worth Rs. 82.02 crore of Koli Commercial LLP to set up a private Freight Terminal under the Gati Shakti Multi-Modal Terminal scheme, in Angul.

In the Manufacturing sector, Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd got Government nod to set up a unit for 35,000 MT manufacturing of bogies and couplers for railways manufacturing in Paradeep, contributing Rs 438.92 crore.

The SLSWCA also approved the proposal of Premium Transmission ventures to set up an industrial transmission and renewable energy equipment manufacturing unit in Khurda, with an investment of Rs 555.00 crore.

In the metal ancillary sector, a Magnesium Granules Manufacturing Unit to be set up in Kalinga Nagar with a project cost of Rs 50.60 crore while TIMAB Magnesium would establishe a Magnesia Refractories Manufacturing Unit in Khurda with an investment of Rs 90 crores.

The Premier Explosive will set up a Defense Explosives Plant in Rayagads with an investment of Rs 864.00 crore.

Similarly, as per the decision of SLSWCA, ITC Limited diversifies its portfolio with a 5-star hotel under the “Welcomhotel” brand in Puri, investing Rs 148.39 crore.

In the Food Processing Sectors, Indo Nissin Foods Pvt Ltd got the Government approval to set up PP Cups manufacturing unit in Khurda, investing Rs 51 crore.

Magpet Polymer Pvt Ltd has been proposed to establish a PET Preform, Bottles, & Caps Recycled Flakes & Pellets unit in Khordha, with a project cost of Rs 175 crore.

The State panel has accorded its nod for the proposals of MAF Clothing, SAPL Industries Pvt. Ltd., Meenu Creation LLP, Pooja International, Sonu Exim Pvt Ltd, Rainbow Fabart Private Limited, B L International Private Limited, Fine Lines (Noida Apparel Cluster), and Canberg Global Sourcing Pvt. Ltd., collectively investment of Rs 589.78 crore in readymade garments manufacturing units across Khordha and Puri.

In the Steel (Downstream) sector, Prunama Steels Private Limited got the nod to set up an ERW Pipe manufacturing unit of 80000 MT in Sundergarh, with a combined investment of Rs 54.70 crore.

In the Steel sector, MSP Sponge Iron Limited has got approval for its project proposal to have a 2 MTPA Iron ore Grinding in Keonjhar with an investment of Rs 150 crore. Sree Metaliks Ltd to set up a 1 MTPA Grinding unit in Keonjhar, with an investment of Rs 147 crore, Suraj Products Limited to set up a 20,000 MT ferro alloys plant in Sundergarh, with a project cost of Rs 98.50 crore.

In the ESDM sector, the State has given approval to Jupiter International Limited to set up a manufacturing facility of photovoltaic solar cells in Khordha with a cost of Rs 250 crore.

In the IT infrastructure sector, Perfectus Technology Solutions Pvt Ltd and Umang Cold Storage Private Limited got the approval to invest in IT infrastructure projects in Info City, Chandaka IA Bhubaneswar, with a combined investment of Rs 709.13 crore.
