Usha Padhee Visits Aahar Kendra

Bhadrak:Usha Padhee, Principal Secretary, Housing & Urban Development recently visited the Aahar Kendra located in Bhadrak town, praising the facility’s dedication to providing nutritious and affordable meals to the urban poor and working class.

The centre, efficiently managed by the Radha Krushna Self Help Group (SHG), has become a vital resource for the local community.

During her official visit to the district, Smt. Padhee engaged directly with members of the Radha Krushna SHG and interacted with beneficiaries availing the Aahar meal. She expressed her satisfaction with the high standards of food quality and hygiene meticulously maintained at the centre.

“The dedication of these women in running the Aahar Kendra efficiently reflects the power of community-led initiatives in urban governance. Their commitment is truly inspiring,” she stated, acknowledging the vital role the SHG plays.

Smt. Padhee further highlighted the significant contribution of the women of Radha Krushna SHG, not just in ensuring food security, but also in promoting community well-being and women’s empowerment.
