Tripathy Mantra For Team Labour

Bhubaneswar: A comprehensive three-day training programme on various labour laws, organized by the Labour Commissionerate, Odisha, concluded today at the Conference Hall of the State Labour Institute. The impactful program, aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of Assistant Labour Officers, was inaugurated by Shri Indramani Tripathi, Labour Commissioner, on Tuesday.

Labour Commissioner, Shri Indramani Tripathi, emphasized the critical role of well-informed labour officers in ensuring the effective implementation of labour laws and promoting industrial harmony within the state. He highlighted the importance of continuous learning and adaptation to the evolving landscape of labour legislation.

The inaugural function was presided over by Shri Neet Ranjan Shen, Additional Secretary and Director of the Labour Department, State Labour Institute. The vote of thanks was proposed by Shri Bighnajit Mahanta Mohapatra, Joint Labour Officer.

The training saw a panel of distinguished chief trainers impart their expertise to the Assistant Labour Officers. These included Shri Naresh Chandra Sahu, Dr. Kalyan Kumar Sundaraya, Smt. Bharati Sitha, Shri Gaurav Mohanty, Shri Prashant Kumar Nanda, and Dr. Shohini Mohapatra.

At the culmination of the successful training, Labour Commissioner Shri Indramani Tripathi, presented certificates and participated in a group photo with 40 Assistant Labour Officers who successfully completed the programme. Other notable guests present at the closing ceremony included Additional Labour Officers Shri G.Siram Tudu and Shri Madan Mohan Pai, and Joint Labour Officer Shri Bighnajit Mahant Mohapatra.

The programme underscores the Labour Commissioner, Odisha’s commitment to strengthening its workforce and ensuring robust enforcement of labour regulations for the welfare of the state’s workers.
