Bhubaneswar: The BJP Government today effected a reshuffle among top level IAS officers in the State.
The General Administration & Public Grievances (GA&PG) Department has brought a notification in this regard today evening.
As per the notification, Additional Chief Secretary to CM, Nikunja Bihari Dhal is allowed to remain in additional charge of Chairman, IDCO, Bhubaneswar.
Shri Dhal, a 1993 batch IAS Officer, was recently appointed as Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister.
Similarly, 1993 batch IAS officer Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Surendra Kumar has been given additional charge of Parliamentary Affairs Department.
He will continue to serve in his current position as ACS to the GA & PG Department and Tourism Department.
G Mathivathanan, Additional Chief Secretary, Housing and Urban Development and Parliamentary Affairs Department, has been transferred as Director General, Training Coordination, Gopabandhu Academy of Administration, Bhubaneswar.
The additional appointment of IAS officer Anu Garg as Director General, Training Coordination, Gopabandhu Academy of Administration shall stand terminated from the date Shri Mathivathanan takes over, the order said.
“Usha Padhee, Principal Secretary to Government, Skill Development & Technical Education Department with additional charge of Principal Secretary to Government, Commerce & Transport Department is allowed to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary to Government, Housing & Urban Development Department,” it said.
Hemant Sharma, Principal Secretary, Industries Department with additional charge of Chairman, IPICOL is allowed to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary, MS & ME Department.
1996 batch IAS, Saswat Mishra, Principal Secretary to Governor with additional charge of Chairman, OSSSC is allowed to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary, Finance and Energy Departments.
A 1996 batch IAS Officer Vishal Kumar Dev, who is now serving as Principal Secretary, Finance with additional charge of Chairman, GRIDCO and Principal Secretary, E & IT Department is appointed as Principal Secretary, E & IT Department. He is allowed to remain in additional charge of Chairman, OFDC.
1999 batch IAS Bhaskar Jyoti Sarma, Commissioner, Land Records & Settlement is appointed as Commissioner-cim-Secretary, Sports & Youth Services Department.
2005 batch IAS R. Vineel Krishna, Sports Secretary and Special Secretary to the Chief Minister, has been posted as Commissioner, Land Records & Settlement.
This is the first major IAS transfer effected by the BJP Government after coming to power in the State.
